Meet Max

I recently heard from Max Truell  who is 13 and lives in New Zealand. He has a basement workshop and says he has been learning woodworking by watching YouTube videos. But wow...Max is one very busy woodworker. Check out his work. Love the inlays, something I have never tried myself.

Check out his chess set. He made is with a drill, a plane, a clamp, and a jigsaw. He made the pieces using a home-made lathe from a drill, a bit, a bolt,  and a 2x4.

The best way to learn woodworking is just get out there and do it.
